When a customer has a negative experience with GlobalWritings.com, we are committed to doing whatever we can to rectify the situation. In some cases, this might include providing a refund or credit to the affected customer. The decision to provide a refund or credit is made after an investigation has been performed. This page defines specific instances when a refund or credit may or may not be awarded.
Responsibilities of GlobalWritings.com
When you place an order with us, we make the following guarantees:
- Instructions that you provide will be followed exactly
- Your paper will be original and written specifically for you
- Your paper will not have any errors
- We will respond promptly and accurately to any questions or concerns that you send to us
- We will protect your personal and financial information
- We will deliver your papers on or before the due date
- We will take steps to insure that billing is accurate
Customer Obligations
When you place an order with us, you agree to take the following steps in order to help us adequately serve you:
- Maintain contact information so that it is up to date
- Submit payments promptly
- Answer questions and messages quickly
- Submit accurate payment information
- Provide clear instructions when you place your order
- Report problems immediately
- Upload reference material within the time frame you are given
Failure to follow these directives could negate your eligibility for a refund.
Problems With Billing
We have several safeguards in place that help us to prevent billing errors. However, if you find that we have billed you in error, please contact customer service with the amount in question along with a screen shot of a bank statement or other evidence of our mistake. We will process your refund or credit right away. If we find evidence that the billing error was due to a data breach or some form of fraud, this will be investigated internally. We will also report any evidence of illegal activity to authorities and cooperate with their investigations.
Academic Points and Grades
We have an excellent track record when it comes to providing papers that receive excellent grades. However, because there are so many elements outside of our control regarding grading decisions, we cannot provide any promises of a refund or credit based on grades that our customers might receive.
Missed Deadlines
We believe that missing a deadline is inexcusable. If we are more than one day late with your paper, you will be given a refund of 100% of the payment that you submitted. Papers delivered within 24 hours after the stipulated deadline will result in a partial refund or credit. Our customer service staff will calculate the final amount of that credit/refund.
This policy does not apply if the delay happened because the customer did one of the following:
- Failed to respond to questions or requests for information
- Did not remit payment on time
- Provided unclear instructions
- Took or failed to take other actions that resulted in our inability to finish the order.
Technical Difficulties
We are not responsible for technical difficulties and do not provide refunds or credits when a technical issue impacts progress on, or delivery of papers.
Incomplete or Unassigned Papers
If we fail to provide you with a completed paper, you will be issued a full refund. If we have made progress on the paper, and you would like to download it in order to finish it on your own, we are happy to comply with that request. However, this will result in a reduction of your refund or credit.
In the event that we cannot find a suitable writer to work on your paper, we will inform you and issue a refund or credit right away.
Stolen Content
We guarantee, without qualification, that every paper we provide to our clients is completely original, and contains no stolen content. If we receive an accusation of plagiarism, we start an investigation by doing the following:
- Asking the customer to upload the document in question along with a copy of the accusation of academic dishonesty
- Comparing that document with the copy stored on our archival servers
- Submitting both documents through turnitin.com
If we determine that we did release a document to a customer that had stolen content, the customer will receive an immediate and full refund. We will then investigate what may have caused the breach and appropriately deal with all parties involved.
Fortunately, due to commitments made by our writers and our QA methodologies, we have not received any credible accusations of plagiarism.
Individual Cases
While it does not happen very often, we do on occasion offer a refund or credit on an individual basis to valued customers who have had a bad experience with us. This is done on a case by case basis, and no customers should assume that they are guaranteed a refund or credit.
